Publishing & Scheduling

Comments

Read and answer comments from your accounts' phones: replies, likes, Instagram pins, scheduling, and comments on other people's videos.

Accounts > Comments gathers the comments on your accounts' videos in one place, and lets any of your accounts answer them. Everything you send goes out from the account's own phone: the phone opens the video and types the reply or taps the heart, the way a person would.

Reading comments

Pamba reads the comments on your accounts' videos from the last 60 days every 15 minutes, on TikTok and Instagram.

  • •Questions shows only the comments that ask something, so the ones worth answering come first.
  • •Yours shows only threads where one of your accounts wrote the comment or a reply.
  • •Search matches a comment's words, its author and its replies. Filter by platform or by account.
  • •A video opens on its comments in the order the platform shows them (Top on TikTok, Most liked on Instagram); you can switch to Newest first.

Replying, commenting and liking

  • •Reply under a comment, or Add a comment to the video itself. Pick which of your accounts posts it: the video's own account, or another of yours on the same platform. The account must be signed in on one of your Pamba phones.
  • •Like with the heart. It opens the accounts that can like the comment now, and Schedule for later.
  • •Pin (Instagram only) works on your own videos, two comments per post. On a new comment, tick "Pin it once it's posted". TikTok no longer lets creators pin comments.

What an account is asked to do now on one video goes out together, in one sitting on its phone, as a creator would do it. Each request waits 2 minutes for the next, and the batch goes out at most 10 minutes after its first request, up to 10 actions a session. Anything you schedule goes out at its own time instead.

Each comment shows where it stands:

  • •Queued: waiting for the phone. A scheduled one shows its time instead.
  • •Sending: the phone has it.
  • •Sent: the phone posted it, and Pamba is checking it shows on the platform.
  • •Live: Pamba saw it on the platform.
  • •Not showing: no read found it 6 hours after it went out, since platforms can hide a comment.
  • •Couldn't send: the phone could not post it, with the reason.
  • •Not sent: it was cancelled before the phone had it.

A like or a pin shows Liking or Pinning, then Liked or Pinned once the phone saw it land. You can cancel anything still queued, scheduled ones included.

Scheduling

The clock in a reply or a comment, and Schedule for later in the heart's popup, schedule it from a minute to 30 days ahead. It goes out within a few minutes of that time, with the account's other actions on the video due then. Scheduling is also how you spread work across days: when a limit refuses a request, the message names the first time it would pass, and you can schedule it for then.

You can also reply to one of your own comments before it is live. The reply waits for it, then goes out 15 to 45 minutes after it was posted, so the conversation looks natural. Up to 3 replies can wait behind one comment, one after the other.

Limits

TikTok and Instagram lock accounts that act too much, too fast, so Pamba keeps every account inside these:

  • •A comment is at most 150 characters on TikTok and 2,200 on Instagram.
  • •An account is asked for at most 30 comments, and at most 30 likes and pins, in any rolling day.
  • •On another account's video (another of your accounts, or a video you added), an account comments at most once a day and likes at most once a day. The Pamba team can raise either limit for your workspace. An account Pamba created waits its first 7 days before commenting on other accounts' videos.

Every limit counts at the time an action goes out, so a scheduled action counts on its own day.

Comments on other people's videos

This is in early access: the Pamba team switches it on for a workspace.

  1. 1.Switch the view from Your videos to Other videos.
  2. 2.Paste a link to a TikTok or Instagram video and press Add video. Pamba reads its comments, in about a minute for TikTok and a few for Instagram.
  3. 3.Reply, comment or like as on your own videos. Pins aren't available, since only a video's owner can pin.

You can add 50 videos a day unless the Pamba team raised your workspace's limit, and your list holds as many as you add. Pamba reads a video again when you refresh it, and while one of your comments on it is waiting to show. TikTok photo posts aren't supported yet, and an Instagram photo or carousel post can be read but not answered. Removing a video from your list cancels anything still queued on it.

From the agent and the API

Ask the agent ("reply to the questions on my last video", "like the top comments from @youraccount tomorrow at 9am"). It has the same actions. From your own tools, the comment routes are in the API reference and the MCP tools in the MCP server guide:

  • •list_comments, reply_to_comment, comment_on_video, like_comment and pin_comment read and answer comments.
  • •list_outgoing_comments and cancel_outgoing_comment follow what you sent.
  • •add_external_comment_video, list_external_comment_videos, refresh_external_comment_video and remove_external_comment_video manage the videos you added.

To like in bulk, give each like its own scheduled_for, spread past the daily limits.
